Friendship – May this bonding last eternity

Friendship Day celebrations occur on different dates in different countries. The first World Friendship Day was proposed for 30 July 1958. On 27 April 2011 the General Assembly of the United Nations declared 30 July as official International Friendship Day. However, some countries, including India, celebrate Friendship Day on the first Sunday of August. In Oberlin, Ohio, Friendship Day is celebrated on 8 April each year. It’s one of the most popular events of the world especially to the youth community who want to dedicate this complete day to their most special friends by sharing friendship day quotes.

Friendship Day was originally promoted by Joyce Hall, the founder of Hallmark cards in 1930.

On this Friendship day, I try am trying to share with you one story which I have heard long back when I was kid from my grandfather who used to tell me stories of moral values.

The Story

Two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face.

The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand “Today my best friend slapped me in the face”.

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone “Today my best friend saved my life”.

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, “After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?” The other friend replied “When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.”

This story help me to maintain friendship with any one in this universe , I am fortunate that I have not loose any friendship in life as all pain given by friends has been written on sand which has been erase by wind of forgiveness and all helped done by my friends has been written on stone which has been engrave in such a way that no wind can ever erase it.  Be it school friends , College friends , Professional friends or be it girlfriends  each friendship in my life has a story and am thankful to God for giving me Friends and pray to God to last this bonding for eternity.

A real piece of Art

Bob Marley might not be know to this generation but his thought and content are eternal and being a follower of his thought I found this piece of literature and thought to share with you all.  In a complex world when we are in search of true friends we need to understand this piece of art , the interpretation might be different to different person but the true fact remains the same there is no substitute of true friendship.

‘Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable treasures kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back and are so clear and vivid it’s like being young again. Colours seem brighter and more brilliant. Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn’t exist at all. A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day’s work and always brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.”

Don’t think of Cost Think of Value

Don’t think of Cost Think of Value.

Don’t think of Cost Think of Value

In life people always tend to think of cost, rather thinking about values. In my experience Values are one which stays with you but cost has a depreciation. When the entire world is bother about inflation ,hike and cost , I must say that people should start looking the coin from other side and should start thinking about values. I always find my student saying that cost of foreign education is increasing day by day and is unaffordable . I really  understand  that Cost is high for education nowadays but it is inexpensive from ignorance, so students now has a choice to look the coin from others side while spending money for education, because value of education is eternal.

Well said by Mahatma Gandhi,

Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”

Achhe Din Ane wala Hai Budget 2014

Arun Jaitleys’s Budget has created new hope for Indian across the globe and has given a relief to individual  and corporate here in India in a NAMO way. I am not a regular blogger but I took it an opportunity to start my first blog with Budget as an content. Only fear factor that comes to my mind is the execution part, on paper India planning is great and no nation can match with us, be its Nehru’s 5 years planning or National policy framework but when times comes for execution it’s loose its momentum. But 2014 is a remarkable year for Indian politics as after a long time India has given a clear mandate to BJP and next 5 years can change the face of India. Two important person on whom the entire nation is eying right now is our honorable PM Mr. Modi and our honorable FM Mr. Arun Jaitley, one is Arjun with correct vision to brand India and the other is Krishna our guide for economic stability and growth. I can correctly say now India is on right hands. Few important area which has attracted me in this budget, and I think that opposition will also not get a scope to criticize it, but  no one  can predicts Indian opposition, like you can not  predict Rain In London since India opposition has only one agenda to oppose and slow down our growth process.

Few important facts and figure of Budget 2014;

1] start ups/enterprise: No one can argue that if we want to see India on growth and development flight than we have to give importance to starts up /enterprise , which this budget has already given start up will revive the economy and will boost up all sectors.

2]Real estate : Allowing Real estate investment  trust[ REIT] is a good move at least for the sector which has not seen good news for few years now.

3] Personal Tax: It has given relief to few section of the society who counts their Penney but not for those to whom dollars matters.

4]Structural adjustments: The budget keeps fiscal deficit at 4.1% which was put forth in interim budget is commendable but now the big question is how he is going to achieve it. The only way he can achieve it is betting on growth. He has to keep GDP growth at 6 % this year and 7 % next year to achieve this mission impossible target which I think he will manage if less opposition comes his way.

5] infrastructure: The most important area where India should focus now onwards before its too late and am happy to see the focus has been rightly given on road, transport ,port ,airlines and energy etc. Moreover relaxing CRR and SLR  norm will give  infrastructure financing a little bit relaxation.

Putting my finger cross I am optimist that this budget will change the dimension of India Kyuki Achhe Din Ane Wala hai. Willing to write more on this but have to rush to doctor for my daughter.

Have a nice day ahead

Start-ups/enterprise: It is evident that the budget believes that creating an environment conducive to start-ups will boost agriculture/manufacturing/software products; create jobs; and revive the economy. It’s hard to argue with that logicRead more at: http://www.livemint.com/Specials/7giwNUZRrNhlbngtJeQJnO/Arun-Jaitleys-first-Union-budget-an-instant-analysis.html?utm_source=copy
